We are Trude and Roar, lovers of nature, circumnavigators and the proud owners of the Sailing The Good Life ® adventure-concept.
We live at N70 E030 in an area we consider to be one of the worlds most splendid. This is why we are so thrilled to show and explore the Arctic Varanger to our guests who prefer genuine and active nature experiences.

A journey of peace, we travel at a relaxing pace on land and at sea, under white sails, on foot or by bycicle. We let you discover an amazing part of Arctis, and make sure you feel safe while being as active as you feel like, your entire trip. Fishing for kingcrab, cod and halibut the tradtional way,admiring the vast amount of seabirds living up here by the arctic seas, and learning about day to day living in the small fishing villages and communities we visit, are just some of the things you may experience. Last but not least we’ll enjoy good meals under the midnight sun, the Northern light or in the last golden rays of a colorful sunset. In short; we go on an adventure together to live the good life, just as the locals like to do it.
