Sail to the arctic seabirds
If you are interested in seabirds, come sail with us and get close to the birds in the Varangerfjord! Way up here in the northern part of Norway you will find a rich diversity of birdlife, with numerous, colourful and rare birds, attracting ornithologists from all over the world.
The trip begins at scenic Ekkerøy, we sail around the birdmountain, out to Skallnesset where we may find the eagles. On our way back, we keep our focus on the island Little Ekkerøy, where, in 1953, the only polar bear visiting the mainland of Europe, swam ashore. Upon our return to Ekkerøy, we will serve you a delicious local meal.
